Recipe: Stewed Apples

Why Stewed Apples Support Gut Health

Stewing apples releases pectin, a soluble fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria, soothes the digestive lining, and supports healthy bowel movements. Pectin also helps improve nutrient absorption and stabilize blood sugar — making stewed apples a gentle, nourishing option for bloating, inflammation, and gut healing.
